Nigeria LNG Limited
Nigeria LNG Limited (NLNG) was incorporated on 17 May 1989 to harness the nation's natural gas resources and produce liquefied natural gas (LNG) and natural gas liquids for export. Its liquefaction plant sits on Bonny Island in Rivers State, where six processing trains give the company a combined production capacity of around 22 million tonnes of LNG per year.
NLNG is owned by the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (49%), Shell Gas B.V. (25.6%), TotalEnergies Nigeria (15%), and Eni International (10.4%) — a partnership that has made it one of the most significant LNG producers in the world and a major contributor to Nigeria's economy.
